In the event of inclement weather and school closures, we will transition to our off-campus asynchronous learning plan, allowing us to minimize disruptions to our students' education.

Here are the details:

✅ Asynchronous Learning Day – Students will complete assignments independently at home.
✅ Teacher Availability – Teachers will be accessible via email and Google Classroom during regular school hours for questions and support.
✅ Schedule Adjustments:

If a cancellation occurs on a Wednesday, we will follow a full A-H schedule on both Wednesday and Thursday (whether on or off campus).

If remote learning falls on a Thursday after an on-campus Wednesday block day, we will follow a normal Thursday block schedule.
✅ Attendance – No formal attendance will be taken.
✅ Video Meetings – If a teacher chooses to hold a virtual class session, it will only occur during the regularly scheduled class period.
✅ Assignments:

• Posted by 7:30 AM
• Submitted by 6:00 PM
• Aligned with the curriculum and meaningful to student learning
• Designed to take 30-45 minutes per subject (unless following the adjusted Thursday block schedule)
• Graded for completion or accuracy, as determined by the teacher

CTK Letter jackets can be ordered anytime from Jostens.com. Please note: Your custom letter jacket will take 8-10 weeks to manufacture from your online order date and and 5-7 days shipping time. Step 4: Print Medical Forms (click on forms, and option to print is available)

• NCHSAA PPE Physical Evaluation - Must be signed and dated by a doctor.
• NCHSAA Medical Eligibility Form - Must be signed and dated by a doctor.

Step 5: Upload signed medical forms to Dragonfly. This process is significantly faster, easier, legible, and more likely to be accepted if you create a separate file for each form.

• Upload NCHSAA PPE Physical Evaluation Form. Select the date of the physical when prompted.If the physical date and the date selected by the parent do not match, the physical will be rejected.
• Upload NCHSAA PPE Medical Eligibility Form.Select the date of the physical when prompted. If the physical date and the date selected by the parent do not match, the physical will be rejected.

Step 6: When all your student athlete's forms are green, they are eligible to participate.

All forms for fall sports must be completed by July 30, 2025.

All forms for winter sports must be completed by October 1, 2025.

All forms for spring sports must be completed by January 15, 2026.

1. Returning staff/students: no need to change anything about how you have been logging in
2. New staff/students: Log in with Google and select school email, or with school email & temporary password (hallowed). If that password doesn't work, you can and should reset it to one you'll remember!

Arrival -  Both entrances are open for morning carpool; however, entering off of Shiloh Church Road will help traffic move along. All cars will exit on to 73. 

Please move all the way down the curb and avoid leaving gaps between cars and PLEASE watch for students crossing the road.

Dismissal -  Traffic flow for afternoon carpool is one way only. Enter from the Shiloh Church Road entrance and proceed to the front of school. The entrance to CTK at 73 will be closed to incoming traffic; all cars will exit onto 73 upon exiting the school.  NEW THIS YEAR: We will not be lining up in alphabetical order, please line up behind the last car and do not skip the line.  

Please start the carpool line at the Mary statue in the front of the school (we need to leave space for the bus in front of the school). Please do not park in a parking lot to pick up your student.

To help move along car line, avoid leaving unnecessary empty space between cars.

If you will be switching drivers, please move to the end of the school building by the retaining wall to switch. There will be staff outside to assist and direct. Please proceed slowly for the safety and protection of our students! 

Clubs will begin meeting next week on Wednesday and Thursday. Clubs will meet the first, second, and third weeks of the month. Advisory and Household Events will take place the last week of the month.

• Dresses may be strapless or include straps. A proper fit is important when it comes to dancing.

• 2-piece dresses must overlap at the waist. This means the top must overlap with the skirt or pants waistband. Midriffs must not be exposed.

• The length of your dress must not be higher than the mid-thigh.

• Dresses must not have a slit that exceeds the mid-thigh.

• Dresses may not be cut below the bust-line or mid-back.

• Undergarments should not be visible.

• See through apparel is not permitted.

• Dresses should not be excessively tight. Skin-tight dresses (aka: bandage dresses are never acceptable.)

Please note the following regarding the purchase of dress-down passes:

1. All Dress Down Passes must be purchased online. They will NOT be sold at school. 

2. The online link will be closed at 5 PM the Wednesday before each Dress Down Day and reopen the following Monday. NOTE: The form will be inactive and will not accept submissions after 5 pm the Weds before Dress Down Day. It will reopen the following Monday. 

3. If you do not have a pass but would like to dress down for the day, SGA will be collecting $5 in the First Commons before 7:45 AM. Cash only, no card and no coins.

Tuition Information

All students MUST have a visible 2025-2026 parking permit in their car ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL in order to park a vehicle on campus. Cars without a permit will NOT be allowed to park on campus. 

SENIORS:

Due to the planned construction on campus, we are limited to 45 spots in the Upper Lot and 62 spots in the Lower Lot. The cost for a parking permit is $40 and the cost to paint the spot is an additional $25. ALL FORMS AND PAYMENTS WILL BE SUBMITTED ONLINE THIS YEAR.

IMPORTANT DEADLINES AND DETAILS:

• If you would like to be put in the lottery for the 45 spots in the Upper Lot, the online parking form and payment are due by July 8.
• Students will be randomly chosen and notified by July 11 if they got a spot in the Upper Lot. 
• There is no guarantee of a spot in the Upper Lot. 

All other Senior parking applications will be due by July 15. This is for ALL SENIORS, whether you choose to be in the Upper Lot or not. 

PARKING SPOT DESIGN SUBMISSION (if painting your spot)

• If you choose to paint your spot, you must submit an image (may be hand drawn or electronically generated) to Google Classroom by July 15. 
• You will receive a notification via Google Classroom if your design is approved. If not approved, you will be asked to resubmit.

LOTTERY 

• Once the applications are processed and the images are approved, Seniors will receive a randomly generated lottery number on July 25th. NOTE: This lottery number determines the order in which you will choose your spots. It does not correspond to a parking spot. 
• An aerial view image of the Senior parking spots will be uploaded to the Class of 2026 Google Classroom along with the list of students in order of lottery number. Seniors should discuss with their classmates which spots they would like and put comments into the Google Classroom.
• At 8 AM on Aug 1, Seniors in the Upper Lot will begin choosing their parking spot from the image on Google Classroom in order of lottery number. At 9AM on Aug 1, Seniors in the Lower Lot will begin choosing their parking spot in order of lottery number. 
• Painting will take place on Aug 8 and 9, from 7 AM - 3 PM. 
• Once the spot is painted, the image may not be added to or modified. 

A couple of things to note:

• Seniors are responsible for providing their own paint and painting supplies.
• Parking spot dimensions are approximately 18 x 9 ft, with a 1 ½ in border.
• To be approved, your image may not be in opposition to the Catholic faith or make controversial political statements or be overtly offensive to others. 
• You may only paint the approved image, and any inappropriate images will be painted over and you will lose your parking spot  No refunds will be given.
• If any misconduct occurs during the painting day or there is a refusal to cooperate with the guidelines, those involved will lose upper parking lot privileges for the first semester and/or be subject to additional consequences.

This is a Senior privilege, so please follow the guidelines above so we can continue the Senior parking tradition at CTK. Please email Mrs. Milligan at maureenmilligan@ctkchs.net with any questions. 

Senior Parking Permit Application

Junior and Sophomore Parking Applications for the 25-26 school year are not yet available.

Families requiring more than one pass may purchase two passes for $60 (for families with multiple cars or needing an additional parking spot on campus). These passes may not be shared with or sold to anyone outside their immediate family.  Students may drive more than one vehicle but only need one pass.  

Please complete the required information and digitally sign the Acknowledgement of Parking Pass Regulations. The parent/guardian digital signature also serves as an acknowledgment that the student drivers have read and agree to abide by the parking and painting regulations.

Sophomore/Junior Parking Permit Application

The school day begins at 7:45 am and ends at 2:50 pm. Students must be seated in their desks in the classroom when the bell rings at 7:45 am in order to be considered not tardy.

If you are interested in playing a sport or attending summer workouts, you should register using TeamSnap. This is the best way to get updated information from the coach/team.

Textbook requirements can be found here. The required school supply lists will be provided by teachers once classes start, but will consist primarily of notebooks, looseleaf paper, folders, pens, and pencils. 

The PTO hosts two used textbook sales during the summer - July 30th and Aug 6th from 9 am - 11 am.
