At Christ the King Catholic High School, the safety and well-being of our students is our highest priority. As part of the Diocese of Charlotte’s Safe Environment program, all faculty, staff, coaches, and volunteers are required to complete a background check and safe environment abuse prevention and education training through CMG Connect. Once Safe Environment Certified, annual renewal training is required.

CMG Connect offers convenient, online courses that cover essential topics, including recognizing and preventing abuse, maintaining safe boundaries, and promoting a secure environment for every child. This training, combined with background checks and diocesan policies, ensures that every adult serving our school community is prepared to protect and support our students.
We are grateful to our parents and volunteers for partnering with us in this important effort. Together, we can continue to provide a faith-filled, safe, and nurturing environment for all Crusaders.

Help protect all of God’s children
Everyone has a role to play in protecting children. North Carolina law requires all adults to immediately report suspected child abuse by anyone to law enforcement agencies. If you know or suspect that a minor (person under 18) has been abused, please call 9-1-1 or contact local law enforcement.
Also, if you have information about possible sexual abuse or misconduct by any clergy, employee or volunteer of the Diocese of Charlotte, report concerns securely and anonymously 24/7 over the phone or online: 1-888-630-5929 or www.
