Faith, Reason, and Your Digital Footprint

This week, our students heard from Ben Tracy of Safe Social Network, a speaker who has reached over 500,000 students in 600+ schools nationwide. His message covered a lot of ground: the reality of online predators and cyberbullying, the toll social media can take on mental health, and how quickly a digital footprint can shape a future. He also shared his own story, a lesson learned the hard way in his younger years, which grounded every part of his message in something real and personal.

What stayed with our students was not just a list of dangers, but a bigger invitation: to be thoughtful about who they are online, to build resilience, and to look out for one another along the way.

Our faith gives us the wisdom to pause. Reason gives us the judgment to choose well. We are grateful for a message that met our students with honesty on every front, and for a speaker who reminded them that their choices today matter far beyond a screen.

Thank you, Ben, for investing in our CTK Crusaders.
