Joyful Service: Experienced Through the Lens of Those Being Served

Sometimes the most powerful lessons are the ones you feel.

As part of a special service day, our freshmen gained a deeper understanding of what it means to experience hunger. Through an eye-opening activity, they experienced how socioeconomic realities can shape access to something as basic as a meal. What followed was action.

Students came together at LifeLine meal-packing ministry, working side by side to pack meals for those facing hunger both in our local community and around the world. There was energy, purpose, and genuine joy in the room. Joy that comes from doing something meaningful together.

At CTK, we are called to serve others, and this special day brought that mission to life in a tangible way. When students see the impact they can make, service becomes more than an idea. It becomes a way of life.
