Christ the King celebrated a meaningful milestone today as three student-athletes officially signed to compete at the collegiate level, surrounded by family, teammates, coaches, and members of the school community. Simone Kennedy signed to run track at Bluefield University, Paityn Williams signed to run track at Livingstone College, and Brennan Wallace signed to play football at Shenandoah University. 

Signing day is always a special moment. It represents years of early mornings, long practices, and countless hours of dedication. It also reflects the support system that makes those achievements possible.

During the brief ceremony, each student-athlete shared words of gratitude. They thanked God for the opportunity to pursue their talents, expressed appreciation for their families' encouragement, and recognized the teammates and coaches who challenged them and helped them grow. Each also spoke about the role Christ the King has played in shaping their journey.

Moments like these remind us that athletics at CTK are about far more than competition. They are about forming young men and women who lead with faith, character, and determination.

We congratulate these Crusaders on this exciting next chapter and thank them for the impact they have made on our community. Their legacy at Christ the King will continue to inspire future student-athletes who follow in their footsteps.
