Congratulations to Mrs. Griffith - one of this year's recipients of the Crusader Jack Peele Award for Excellence in Teaching!

When we think of a great teacher, we often think of the big things - inspiring lessons, academic achievement, years of dedication. Mrs. Griffith excels at all of those things. But what truly sets her apart are the small moments that so often go unnoticed.

Showing up to cheer students on at football games. Checking in to ask how someone's week is going. Opening her classroom before the school day even begins. These things may seem small, but as her presenter Mayla Brinkley shared, they mean everything - because they tell every student that they matter.

In the words of St. Teresa of Culcutta, Mrs. Griffith does "small things with great love" - and it is those quiet acts of kindness, encouragement, and genuine care that leave the greatest and most lasting impact.
