The Crusader Jack Peele Award for Excellence in Teaching honors educators whose impact reaches far beyond the classroom - someone who brings out the best in every student, not just academically, but personally and spiritually. This year, one of the honorees is Dr. Delvaux.

Dr. Delvaux is known for holding every student to the same high standard, with a commitment to both academic rigor and the principles of the Catholic faith. His approach to history doesn't simply cover the material - it illuminates it, revealing how God has been at work in human lives from the very beginning.

But what sets Dr. Delvaux apart is the impact his teaching has on students long after class ends. In the words of this year's student presenter: "He consistently serves as a reminder that there is real meaning in all the work I do beyond just debates and grades."

His students leave his classroom not only better prepared academically, but more deeply rooted in their faith and more confident in their ability to face whatever lies ahead.
