Crusader Stories
Our CTK "families" celebrated Thanksgiving "turkey style" with a household turkey wrangling competition. Advisories searched all over campus for their hidden turkeys connected as a team by ropes. House of Regalis emerged as the winners thanks to the first place finish by Mrs. Stemper's advisory. Some advisories also enjoyed Thanksgiving feasts with turkey and all the fixings!

Our Crusader families CRUSHED the goal of feeding 20 families this Thanksgiving by donating enough to fill 61 bags plus extras! Your generosity will impact hundreds of lives in our community this Thanksgiving by providing meals to those in need. Special thanks to the Service Committee, the members who helped with the packing, Elizabeth Navola, Connor Hicks, and Joanna Solorzano, Mrs.Ferrouillet, and Mrs. Janine Hicks. Thank you Crusaders!
Celebrating life. Pro life. Sharing God-given talents. Celebrating creativity. This is CTK. This is Catholic education.

Following our all-school Mass on Friday, a collection of Marian images was blessed by Chaplain Father Huber. The project is the work of the Sorority of Mary club and the result of an initiative to have Marian images in each CTK classroom. Senior Elyse Pugh noted that the "images will help students be mindful of our Blessed Mother's help in asking her son Jesus for His intercession." The Sorority of Mary club allows CTK students the opportunity to grow as a person and to focus on the wonders of our Catholic faith.
The images include nine different Marian apparitions: Our Lady of Akita (Japan), Our Lady of Kibeho (Rwanda), Our Lady of Knock (Ireland), Our Lady of La Salette (France), Our Lady of La Vang (Vietnam), Our Lady of Fatima (Portugal), Our Lady of Guadalupe (Mexico), Our Lady of Lourdes (France), and Mystical Rose (Italy).
The project was funded through donations to Silver & Blue through the Annual Fund.
