Dear CTK Family,
Following last year’s campaign assessment, I spent the second half of last year consulting with a broad range of groups, including the school’s administrators and auxiliary organizations, the campaign committee and diocesan leaders to evaluate the results of the study and to refine our vision. Again, I am truly grateful to everyone who participated and offered their full support which gives us confidence to proceed with a major fundraising effort, starting in February.
Because of your valued input, we created a phased construction plan which will allow us to expand our athletic space and support our arts program. Below, you can view our campaign preview document which highlights the goals of the capital campaign. I ask that you take a moment to look it over. It is important to note that the goals are tiered, meaning Christ the King will carry out the projects as funds are raised. The most immediate projects are expanding our gym’s seating, creating two sets of men’s and women’s locker rooms, followed by construction of a stage and storage for the arts programs.
Christ the King is thriving and poised for even more success. However, this is a key time in our history because our school is growing, and we must upgrade our facilities to ensure we are providing the best possible education and co-curricular programs for our current and future students.
Since 2011, so many generous people have shared their support of Christ the King. I respect our rich history of addressing the needs at the school, and it is my hope this generosity will continue in this important endeavor for the future of Christ the King.
