CTK Breaks Ground on "New Bricks for 2026!"

Yesterday, our community came together for a historic occasion - the official groundbreaking ceremony for our new 17,000-square-foot campus expansion. This $12 million project, fully funded by Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools (MACS), marks a new chapter in our history.

The ceremony was a testament to our faith and our future. We were honored to have Bishop Martin preside over the blessing ceremony, asking for God's grace to watch over the project and all the students who will soon call these new spaces their own. We were also joined by Dr. Greg Monroe, Superintendent of Catholic Schools, who celebrated this milestone with us.

This new building will be much more than just an expansion; it's an investment in the future of our students. The plans include:

New classrooms and a workspace for industrial design, fostering innovation and creativity.

An expanded weight training area, providing more room for our athletes to train.

A new studio for our chorus and band, giving our talented musicians a dedicated space to create.

A redseigned north lobby with a new gym entrance, concessions, ticketing, and a new Crusader Spirit Store.

We are deeply grateful for the investment in our community, for the incredible growth of Christ the King Catholic High School, and for the opportunity to continue to offer the gift of Catholic education.
