The Blueprint for Growth: Quadrupling Our Footprint

This new 20,000+ square foot addition is an investment in our students' future. When complete, it will bring the total campus space to more than 73,000 square feet, roughly four times the size of our original building.

The expansion will provide dynamic, specialized spaces to fuel development across the curriculum: 

• Program Growth: Additional classrooms and enhanced spaces to support learning, theater, engineering, and creative arts.

• Creative Spaces: Dedicated classrooms for band and chorus
• Health & Fitness: A dynamic fitness training center and an updated health room
• Community Hub: A new cafeteria offering freshly prepared hot breakfast and lunch

The Real Building: Forming the Students

Before the first shovel broke ground, Bishop Martin led the Order of Blessing, grounding this project in our deepest purpose. As Dr. Semmler reflected, our focus remains on our mission:

“If the Lord does not build the house, in vain do the builders labor... What this building is really all about is the smaller church — the students themselves. They’re the future of the Church, the real building we’re building.”

This expansion isn’t just about bricks and mortar — it’s about forming faith-filled, thoughtful, and compassionate young people who will carry Christ’s light into the world.

“This building is going to create people for the world — intelligent, faith-filled members of society, people who will be on fire with the love of the Lord.”

And as Dr. Monroe beautifully shared:

“This will be a place where we can build greater community — where people come together. That’s a true reflection of what we’re building here at CTK.”

A Legacy of Vision

Every milestone we reach is built upon the faith of those who came before us. As Mr. Tolcher reminded us at the ceremony:

“It all starts with a small group of people who had a vision and who make that vision come true. Without those kinds of people who start the school and continue to support it, we wouldn’t be here today.”
