Indoor Track Team Tears Up the Track at the State Meet

Congratulations to our Indoor Track athletes for their outstanding results at the 1A/2A NCHSAA Indoor Track State Championship meet on Saturday, February 11th at JDL Fast Track!

• Shea Roche placed 2nd in the 1000m with a time of 3:09.36.

• The Women's 4x800m relay team of Kelsey Keegan, Claire Oglesby, Nicole Alfers, and Shea Roche placed 2nd with a time of 10:11.83.

• Nicole Alfers placed 3rd in the 3200m with a time of 11:17.44.

• The Women's 4x400m relay team of Madeline Ford, Gabbie Feaster, Kelsey Keegan, and Shea Roche placed 3rd with a time of 4:19.78

• Gabbie Feaster placed 5th in the 500m with a time of 1:23.79.

• Katie Dulski placed 10th in the 55m hurdles preliminaries with a time of 8.97.

• Claire Buchsbaum placed 5th in the High Jump with a height of 5-00.00 and 9th in the Triple Jump with a jump of 32-10.00.

• Amani Benel placed 10th in the 55m hurdles preliminaries with a time of 8.34.

• Matthew Theirfelder placed 7th in the High Jump with a height of 5-10 and Amani Benel placed 10th with a height of 5-08.

The women's team placed 4th overall out of 44 teams! Congratulations to our Indoor track athletes, who continue to work hard as they head right into the outdoor spring season! We are so proud of you. And special thanks to Coaches Karin and Scott Gould for their commitment to our runners!
