MVPs for indoor track
Crusader Heart and Speed on Display at Indoor Track & Field Conference Championship Meet

Congratulations to our Crusader Indoor Track team on an outstanding showing at the Conference Championships!

Our student-athletes demonstrated tremendous effort, resilience, and sportsmanship throughout the meet, earning impressive results and representing Christ the King with pride. Their dedication to training and commitment to excellence were on full display. Top finishes included:

  • Shea Roche was named Women's Indoor Track MVP
  • Claire Buschbaum was named Women's Indoor Field MVP
  • Chris O'Connor earned 2nd in Men's Indoor Track MVP
  • Matthew Thierfelder earned 3rd in Men's Indoor Field MVP
  • Claire Buschbaum - 1st in high jump and 1st in long jump
  • Shea Roche - 1st 1600m run, 1st in 3200m run, and 2nd in 1000m run
  • Chris O'Connor - 1st in 1000m run, 1st in 1600m run
  • Women's 4x800m relay - 2nd place (Roche, Oglesby, White, Malloy)
  • Men's 2x200m relay - 2nd place (Clapp, Stevens, Thierfelder, Sacasa)
  • Luke Macauley - 2nd in shot put
  • Matthew Theirfelder - 2nd in high jump, 2nd in hurdles
  • Mason Roberts - 3rd in 3200m run
  • Anna White - 3rd in 3200m run
  • Holden Martin - 3rd in shot put

Our men's team placed 2nd overall, while our women's team finished 3rd. 

We are incredibly proud of our Indoor Track program and all who contributed to this successful championship performance. Way to go, Crusaders! Good luck in States!
