Champions at the Course: CTK Men's Golf Brings Home 2A State Title

The CTK Men's Golf team captured the 2A NCHSAA Golf Championship title for the first time in program history! 

Competing at Gates Four Country Club in Fayetteville on May 11-12th, the Crusaders battled through two days of intense competition, with the outcome coming down to the final hole. CTK defeated Mitchell by just two strokes to secure the title with a final team score of 650.

The pressure was on until the very end, and our Crusaders responded with composure, grit, and championship determination when it mattered most.

Unity was the team's mantra throughout the two-day battle. Led by senior Jack Kazmer, the team of John (Tripp) LiVecchi (freshman), Reid Parkhouse (freshman), Gavin Coffey (sophomore), and Ben Ortmayer (sophomore) delivered a historic victory for CTK golf. Jack was also recognized with the Farm Bureau Sportsmanship Award. 

This championship reflects far more than scores on a leaderboard. It is a testament to perseverance, teamwork, discipline, and the character of a group of young men who represented Christ the King with excellence throughout the season.

A historic finish. A championship earned. And an even brighter future for CTK golf.
