Advanced Theatre Earns Honors at NCTC Competition

The Advanced Theatre class represented Christ the King with creativity, professionalism, and heart at the North Carolina Theatre Conference (NCTC) held at Watauga High School in Boone. Competing with their one-act play, At the Bottom of Lake Missoula, the cast earned an Excellent rating from the judges and received the special award for Purposeful Simplicity—a recognition of the group’s artistry, focus, and storytelling strength.

In addition, Mary Fisher and Noah Lorenzo were honored with the Character Relationships Award for their outstanding onstage chemistry and emotional depth.

We are so proud of our Crusader performers for their dedication to their craft and the way they use their talents to inspire others. Don’t miss the chance to see At the Bottom of Lake Missoula live on campus—alongside another student production—on Friday, December 6 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, December 7 at 2:00 PM.
